Camper Trailer or Tent ?
Exploring the outback and remote beaches you really have two options; a 4wd towing a camper trailer or a 4wd carrying a tent and other camping equipment. The advantages of the basic tent option is you do not have to worry about towing anything, this can also provide you with some greater flexibility and off road capability. The advantages of the camper trailer is the speed at which you can set up camp and the convenience of having 12v power water and all your kitchen basically ready to go whenever you stop. A camper trailer also helps you to keep the weight out of the car, which can help to improve vehicle stability and control. Camper trailers are ideal for kids simply because of the speed and simplicity to get camp set up and have everything ready top go. Or team have been to most places across Australia in all forms of set ups and can help advise you what would suit your trip the best.
